Tropical Cyclone three-day outlook for the Western Region

Existing Cyclones in the Western region:
Nil.
Potential Cyclones:
During Wednesday a low may move off the west coast of the Top End but it is
likely to be located east of 125E. During Thursday this low is expected to move
to the west and be located to the north of the Kimberley coast near 125E, then
continue to move to the west during Friday and Saturday. This low is not
expected to develop into a tropical cyclone during the outlook period.

Existing Cyclones in the Western region:
Nil.
Potential Cyclones:
At 11am WST a low was located near 11.5S 127.3E, about 450 kilometres north
northwest of Wyndham and moving to the west at about 15 kilometres per hour.
This low is expected to move to the west southwest, well to the north of the
Kimberley coast during Thursday and Friday. Over the weekend the low is likely
to maintain a west southwest track over open water well to the north of the
Pilbara. The system is expected to remain weak and not develop into a tropical
cyclone during the outlook period.

Existing Cyclones in the Western region:
Nil.
Potential Cyclones:
A monsoon trough lies near 11S. There are indications that a low may form in the
trough near 12S 110E during Tuesday or Wednesday, but this system is not
expected to develop into a tropical cyclone during the outlook period.
Likelihood of this system being a tropical cyclone in the Western Region:
Tuesday : Very low
Wednesday : Low
Thursday : Low
Another low may form along the monsoon trough in the vicinity of 12S 100E late
Tuesday or during Wednesday. This low is expected to move to the west and may
develop into a tropical cyclone on Thursday or Friday as it approaches 90E.
Likelihood of this system being a tropical cyclone in the Western Region:
Wednesday : Low
Thursday :Moderate
Friday :Moderate
Another low may form along the monsoon trough between 10S and 12S, 95E to 105E
during Wednesday or Thursday. This low is expected to move to the west and may
develop into a tropical cyclone on Saturday before it crosses 90E.
Likelihood of this system being a tropical cyclone in the Western Region:

Friday : Low
Saturday :Moderate
Another low may form along the monsoon trough between 10S and 12S, 90E to 95E
during Thursday. This low is expected to move to the west and is unlikely to
develop before crossing to the west of 90E.
