乙巳年辛巳月丁酉日记生平
昔年鮀岛雨中生，
今岁品清不惑成。
踏足气象十六载，
立志防灾初心刻。
天兔重灾常牢记，
蝶舞蹁跹励病中。
测风算雨护汕美，
观云赏虹无赫功。

按：干支记日是按照农历传统特色，鮀岛是汕头的别称，汕美是汕尾人对本地的美称。

I was born on a rainy day in Swatow in 1985,  
so I'm 40 now, living near the Pinqing Lake today.  
I've worked at the meteorological bureau for 16 years,  
and my original aspiration has been meteorological disaster prevention and reduction.  
I still remember how horrible the disaster caused by Severe Typhoon Usagi in 2013 was,  
but I was encouraged by Super Typhoon Wutip in 2019 when I was seriously ill.  
I calculate and forecast weather conditions like wind and rain to guard Shanwei city,  
so I can appreciate the rainbow even though I don't have much fame or honor.
